I feel like I’ve got a bit in common with you. My partner and I lived in Minneapolis for 4 years and spent 6 months in Turku, Finland last year. We ended our trip with a short visit to Rovaniemi. It was October, so there wasn’t any snow our many tourists. We found it to be a charming little town, and even had a chance to meet “Beardie Weirdie.” I chronicled our travels around Finland on our blog, twobritts.com, if you want to check it out.
